2. Answer the following questions.

Qu. A) Why did the captain send the men to the land?

Ans: The captain sent the men with vessels to look for water.

 

Qu.b)  Why did the men rush back to the ship?

Ans: The men rushed back to the ship because a monster was walking after them in the sea as fast as he could.

 Qu. c). What happened when the monster called out in a loud voice?

Ans: When the monster called out in a loud voice, seven monsters like him came towards the field ready to reap the corn.

Qu. d). How did the author greet the farmers?

Ans:   The author walked slowly backward and forward, pulled off his hat and made a low bow to greet the farmers.

Qu. e) what did the farmer who first found the writer do with him?

Ans: The farmer took the writer to his house and placed him at some distance on the dining table which was thirty feet high from the floor.
